Wall-Mounting the Anti-Tip Bracket

To use this option, the range front panel (excluding bull nose) must be

27” (68.6 cm) or less from the wall, and the bracket screws must be able

to thread into the baseplate in the wall. The notches on the bracket

sides indicate the minimum height of the baseplate and that any floor

covering is not too thick to solidly engage the screws.

1. Using the cabinet cutout dimensions and product dimensions on

Pgs. 6 – 7, determine where the range centerline and front-panel

locations will be once the range is installed.

2. Determine and mark the anti-tip bracket position (see diagram, left).

3. Place the bracket against the wall in the mounting location.

4. With a pencil, mark the wall at the bracket notches (both sides).

5. With a 1/16” bit, drill shallow test holes at both marks.



if not: 1) the bracket must be floor-mounted, or 2) a wood block must

be mounted on the baseplate inside the wall to accept the screws.

6. Set the bracket in place against the wall.

7. 

8. Attach the bracket to the wall as shown with the four included #12 x

1-¾ screws.
